Adopt-A-Road signs installed on Luxomni Road!

The Adopt-a-Road litter prevention initiative, sponsored by Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful and Gwinnett County Department of Transportation, enables citizens to show their pride in Gwinnett and safely reduce the amount of unsightly trash and illegal signage alongside county roadways.Unkempt communities are more likely to have increased crime, decreased economic growth and a decline in quality of life. The litter prevention efforts of the Adopt-a-Road program directly benefit the community through litter prevention, greater civic involvement, and area beautification.

Funeral Arrangements

On Tuesday, February 7, 2012 Ms. Annie Lou Nash went home to be with the Lord. Tom Wages in Snellville will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and again from 6pm to 8pm. The funeral will be Friday at 2:00 in the Chapel at Tom Wages. Internment will follow at the Luxomni Baptist Church Cemetery. A meal will be provided for the family in the Family Life Center at Luxomni Baptist Church. If you would like to provide a covered dish, please have it at the Family Life Center between 1:30 and 2:00. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to either Luxomni Baptist Church or the Luxomni Baptist Cemetery Fund.
